Liam Gallagher recently hinted that he’s really impressed by the new songs his brother Noel has written for a possible Oasis album. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, Liam has been playfully hinting about a new album on social media. Gallagher even responded to Oasis getting attacked by haters recently.
In September, when a fan asked if there was a new Oasis album coming, Liam replied, “Yep, it’s already finished.” When someone else asked if a new album was “in the air,” he joked, “It’s in the bag, mate.” More recently, when asked what he thought of Noel’s new songs, he said he was “blown away.”
Liam often shares hints like this, and sometimes they turn out to be true. For instance, he tweeted about doing a photoshoot with Noel before the reunion was officially announced and hinted about big shows in Manchester. He also hinted about their 2025 UK and Ireland tour dates and guessed that Richard Ashcroft and Cast might open for them, which ended up being true.
Back in April, he suggested that Oasis might record a new album in November. Since then, Noel was seen going into a recording studio, and he recently said he was putting aside an acoustic album to focus on a rock record.
Fans, meanwhile, have been frustrated with high ticket prices for the Oasis 2025 tour due to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing, which changes prices based on demand. The UK government is now considering a law to make ticket sellers show maximum prices upfront. Oasis also announced they’ll be canceling thousands of tickets that were resold at inflated prices for their reunion tour.
