Taylor Hawkins was filmed with Foo Fighters fans outside a South American hotel just a day before dying, as seen below.
Fans have been mourning Hawkins’ death on Foo Fighters’ Reddit, with NeverEverSummer writing, “To the extended Foo Fighters family,
I don’t know that you’ll see this but I’m going to try. You all have written lines and performed songs with sentiments that have helped, comforted, and supported so many of us. It might not be as eloquent or as loud but please know we’re all here and trying to do the same for you.
We’re incredibly grateful and fortunate to have experienced Taylor’s beautiful spirit. The world is better because he was here and he continues to live in every beat of every heart that his music continues to touch.
Our hearts are breaking and we’re thinking of you all.

Hawkins’ official cause of death has not been released, but there have been reports about possible drug use.
