Prince Harry Left Off Peter Phillips Wedding List
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly not been invited to the upcoming wedding of Peter Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, which is said to be taking place in Gloucestershire on 6 June.
On the Daily Expresso podcast, royal commentator Mr Mark Dolan described the absence of an invitation as an “act of war”, while host Mr JJ Anisiobi noted the contrast with past family occasions, Express reported.
The report says Mr Dolan suggested Prince Harry would be “hurting” if excluded, and claimed the Duke “misses his old life” and is “desperate” to return to England and his family. It also cites comments that even if the Duke did not plan to attend, the question of whether an invitation was sent to the Sussexes’ home in California would still carry emotional weight.
According to the same account, King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to attend alongside Prince William and Princess Catherine, while Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are also reportedly invited. The latest claims come amid ongoing discussion about a potential UK visit, with previous coverage examining Prince Harry’s reported stance on conditions for a return.
The wedding had been viewed by some observers as a possible moment for the brothers to be in the same place again, but no official guest list has been released by the family and Buckingham Palace has not commented on the report.
