Prince Harry is going to spend four days giving evidence in a lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s media company. He is suing The Sun newspaper, claiming they used illegal methods to get private information about him. During the trial, Harry won’t be allowed to talk about his testimony with anyone, even his wife Meghan Markle. This is part of the rules of the court. King Charles also ignored Prince Harry’s recent security battle.
The trial is set to start in January and could last up to eight weeks. Harry wants to prove that the newspaper’s actions were wrong, and that people higher up in the company were involved. The case is also about showing how the media harmed his personal life, especially his past relationship with Chelsy Davy, which he believes ended partly because of media interference.
Harry is not the only one suing; former Labour Party politician Tom Watson is also part of the case. The trial will cover a lot of personal issues for Harry, and he hopes to hold the media accountable for their actions. We don’t know if Harry will be in court in person or give his evidence remotely, but he’s done it before and may travel to London for the case.
