Meghan Markle ‘Wildly Unhappy’ as Harry Eyes Move
Meghan Markle is said to be “wildly unhappy” amid reports that Prince Harry wants “different things” from his wife, with the couple’s plans and priorities said to be diverging as they continue building their life in the US.
According to Daily Express, a report carried by Women and Home suggests Prince Harry has discussed leaving Montecito, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live with their two children, while Meghan is said to be closely monitoring spending.
The same reporting claims the couple’s recent ventures have not unfolded as expected, with Women and Home quoted as saying “it’s clear that many of their projects have not gone to plan”. It also cites the suggestion that the Duke has floated the idea of relocating to the “solitude of Montana”.
In the account, Meghan is described as “carefully watching their spend”, while Prince Harry is portrayed as having a limited sense of household costs after growing up within royal life, as the publication puts it. A separate associate is also quoted as suggesting the couple “really need the money” as they pursue new work and public engagements outside the Royal Family.
The latest claims land as scrutiny continues around the Sussexes’ post-royal direction and finances, with previous reporting on new allegations of financial stress highlighting ongoing questions about their long-term plans.
Neither the Duke nor the Duchess of Sussex has publicly responded to the latest reports, and it remains unclear whether any move from California is actively being planned.
