Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are helping with relief efforts for the fires in Los Angeles. Their Montecito mansion is safe for now, but it’s under a red flag warning. Meghan recently shared a tribute to her dog, Guy, who passed away. In the photos, two of their dogs were near the pool, but people also noticed some renovations at their home.
In the background of one photo, there were green fences dividing part of the garden, and a gazebo was visible, possibly for work being done by gardeners or contractors. It’s not clear what projects are going on, but Harry and Meghan are making their house their own, adding special touches like Princess Lilibet’s room and a new lounge.
Their house, which they bought for $14.65 million in 2020, is now worth about $29 million. This is much higher than the average U.S. house price of $357,469.
Their home has a big garden with a play area for their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The play area has slides, a climbing frame, and other fun things. Although they’ve shared pictures of their chicken coop and orange trees, fans are eager to see more of their home.
Meghan’s new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, was filmed in a different mansion nearby, not at their home. In Harry’s book, Spare, he explained that they took out a mortgage to afford their house, even though they originally thought it was too expensive for them.
