On January 10, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the Pasadena Convention Center, where people affected by California’s wildfires were staying. They helped by serving food, donating items, including toys from their kids, Archie and Lilibet, and meeting with rescue workers and victims. Though their $29 million home in Montecito was safe, they were deeply moved by the tragedy. Meghan Markle visited victims of the Los Angeles fire recently.
This visit seemed to improve the relationship between Harry and his family, including King Charles III and Prince William. An insider said Harry’s family checked in on him, and Princess Kate reached out on behalf of herself and William. Harry and Meghan were touched by her gesture.
Kate, who is now in remission from cancer, has been trying for a long time to bring the family back together. She believes life is too short for grudges, and now the royals may be ready to end the feud with Harry and Meghan.
Reconciliation will still be tough, as emotions are still strong. Harry left the royal family five years ago, feeling mistreated by his father and brother. The royals are still upset over Harry’s memoir, Spare, where he shared his complaints publicly.
However, Harry plans to return to the U.K. soon as part of his legal battle with News Group Newspapers. This could be a chance to reunite with his family.
Kate is hoping that the work with her Royal Foundation charity will bring the families back together, especially when William and Kate visit the U.S. to launch the charity. She’s determined for all four of them to sit down and make peace.
