Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been helping people affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. On January 10, they volunteered at the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena, California. They handed out food and supplies to those impacted by the Eaton Fire.
During their visit, they listened to the stories of people who were hurt by the fire and saw how the community came together to help each other. They also spoke with elderly people and families at the Pasadena Convention Center.
In addition to serving food, Harry and Meghan donated clothes, kids’ items, and other supplies to the donation center. They also gave money to support the recovery efforts through their charity, the Archwell Foundation. They also joined Jennifer Siebel Newsom, California’s First Partner, and Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo at the Rose Bowl to thank first responders, including firefighters and police officers, for their hard work.
Harry and Meghan visited the food stations set up by World Central Kitchen and thanked the volunteers for helping the community. Along with helping at the center, they opened their Montecito home to friends who had to leave their homes due to the fires. Their home is about 80 miles from the areas affected by the fires. Some celebrities, including Mandy Moore and Paris Hilton, had their homes damaged by the fires.
Harry and Meghan have shared information about the relief efforts on their website. The couple moved to California in 2020 and has been actively helping the community since then.
