There’s so much in the news today in regards to Johnny Depp. The famed actor is currently going through legal process within the case that is ongoing with Amber Heard. Many fans of Depp have come out to take his side and we also have actors and actresses taking his side as well. Just recently, Chris Rock and Jennifer Aniston showed their support for the legendary actor. Amber Heard has also seen a bit of support, albeit much more rare. With the legal case aside, Hollywood is more than welcoming to bringing Depp back to the big screen. His first gig back may be one of his biggest to date.
The franchise of Sherlock Holmes has been gigantic ever since it started. Fans love what the franchise has done and the sequel was just as praised and loved as the first edition of the movie. That said, it looks like we will be gearing up for a third helping of the aforementioned saga as Robert Downey Jr. seems to be ready to move forward.
As of now, everything is just circling the rumor mill due to the ongoing legal case that Depp has on Amber Heard. Much of what can or will happen next will seriously have to be up to the eventual answer of not only the court and jury, but up to Johnny Depp as well if he does want to return to acting at all.
None the less, it has been made very clear that Robert Downey Jr. wants to do a multi-verse with Sherlock Holmes and has planned on getting big stars involved. Fitting the look of the movie and grit would be Johnny Depp as Robert Downey Jr. has praised on multiple occasions. We will continue to monitor everything that happens from here on out.
