Alice Cooper recently shared a video of himself talking about his love for the band. He admitted that listening to ‘She Loves You’ changed him.
“I would say honestly what really did change my life was ‘She Loves You’ by The Beatles,” he said. “That was the first Beatles song I ever heard and it literally changed something in my brain. It took me someplace new that I wouldn’t have, and I went. It probably inspired what Alice Cooper became.”
Apart from his love for the band, Cooper also thinks that Paul McCartney and John Lennon would have worked together and would have reunited the Beatles if Lennon hadn’t passed away.
The rocker suggested Lennon wanted to make their music ‘more political,’ while McCartney wasn’t as interested in that approach. He explained: “One went one way, and one went the other. I think John wanted to be more political. Paul was not into that that much.”
Alice Cooper is gearing up for his upcoming shows, starting on January 31 in Augusta, Georgia. The shows will wrap up with the Rock Legends Cruise XII, taking place from February 13 to 17.
