Taylor Swift is spreading holiday cheer with thoughtful gifts for her fans. After visiting Children’s Mercy Kansas City earlier this month, she surprised a patient named Naya with a present that was both personal and stylish. Naya had complimented Taylor’s outfit during their meeting, and Swift gifted her the exact same Miu Miu plaid set she was wearing that day.
The outfit, which included a green button-up shirt and matching pleated miniskirt, cost nearly $5,000. Naya, excited by the gift, shared a video on TikTok showing her unwrapping the items while lying in her hospital bed. She was thrilled by the high-end, Italian-made gifts and even joked about feeling “very much celebrity vibes” as she opened them.
Along with the Miu Miu set, Swift also sent Naya a black bomber jacket and a handwritten note on custom stationery. The note read, “Picked you up a few things I hope you’ll think are tea. Merry Christmas! Love, Taylor.” Swift added, “I loved meeting you last week. You were so sweet and so nice complimenting me on my outfit.”
Naya had referred to Swift’s outfit as “tea” during their meeting on December 12, and Swift made sure to acknowledge the compliment in her note. She explained that she purposely kept the outfit details a surprise until she could gift it to Naya.
In addition to the gifts for Naya, Swift also gave a $600 Dyson Airwrap to another fan at the hospital, along with a note saying, “In case Santa doesn’t come through. Love, Taylor Swift.”
Swift’s visit to Children’s Mercy Kansas City occurred on the eve of her 35th birthday, and she also took time to pose for photos and chat with fans, sharing some sweet moments with them.
