British Got Talent judges look for the fire in the contestants. However, it has come to light that a contenstant literally brought the heat to their Britain’s Got Talent audition.
Simon Cowell was ‘on fire’
Filming is underway in London for the latest series of the hit ITV talent show. Judge David Walliams has departed the show with his replacement confirmed to be Strictly Come Dancing star Bruno Tonioli.
However, it seems this year’s hopefuls are pushing the boundaries more than ever in an attempt to make their way to the live shows, with one contestant setting fire to Simon Cowell’s head.
According to the Mirror, a masked magician took the music mogul Simon to the stage and instructed him to sit down. The contestant then put a hood on Simon’s head, poured a light fluid on it and locked it in a box.
The box was opened at the front for the audience to see inside, before the magician dropped a flame into the box and Cowell’s head “went up in flames”.
Afterwards, Simon reportedly said:
“I could feel liquid being poured on me but I had no idea it was lighter fluid!”
Fellow BGT judge Alesha Dixon added:
“Simon, he set your entire head on fire!
“It was very scary, you are a very brave man to do that. It made me realise how much we care about you, I was ready to come up there and rescue you.”
