Neve Campbell Says She ‘Dated’ Prince Harry
Actress Neve Campbell has claimed she once went on a “date” with Prince Harry, recalling an encounter at a fancy-dress party and a later charity dinner where she was seated next to the royal. The Scream star shared the story during a Valentine’s Day-themed discussion about first dates on The Jonathan Ross Show, which aired on Saturday.
During her appearance, Express reported that Ms Campbell told host Jonathan Ross she met Prince Harry at a friend’s birthday party where she was wearing a “race car driver unitard” and ended up chatting and dancing with him, adding that he mentioned having had “a poster” of her on his wall when he was a child.
Ms Campbell also described being invited to a charity event with her then-partner, JJ, and said organisers sat her next to Prince Harry while her partner was placed at the other end of the table. She told the programme the Duke was “really lovely” but said the mood shifted when he began talking about his grandmother and “dropping his Nan’s name”, which she described as “a bit of a mood killer”.
Prince Harry’s dating life has long attracted attention, and the anecdote arrives amid continued interest in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s public profile, including Britpop News coverage of moments when he became emotional while addressing families during recent campaigning work.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for Prince Harry have commented on Ms Campbell’s remarks. The story, framed as a light-hearted chat-show memory rather than a confirmed relationship, has nonetheless prompted fresh headlines about the Duke’s pre-marriage dating history.
