An insider was quoted as saying he thinks their work meeting international organisations and supporting causes abroad demonstrates the “skills and visibility to represent something bigger than themselves”.
Another source cited in the same report suggested Prince Harry also perceives a gap in the royal family’s working ranks, with fewer younger members taking on major public duties than in earlier years, and that he sees their global visibility as a way to help address that.
