Prince Harry is said to feel lonely five years after moving to California. Experts say he’s having a hard time fitting in and finding his place in America.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal expert, told Fox News that Harry chose to live in exile and is now feeling lonely. He misses his family and friends, and there seems to be no chance of fixing his relationship with the royal family. Fitzwilliams also mentioned that Meghan is the dominant one in their relationship, and Harry might wish things had worked out differently, especially regarding his connection with the military.
Broadcaster Helena Chard added that Harry’s memoir, Spare, has made it even harder to fix things with his family. She said Harry didn’t realize how much his actions would hurt his family and cause problems.
After stepping down from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan moved to Montecito, California, hoping to escape the media and racism. But since moving, their relationship with the royal family has become even more strained, especially after Harry’s book revealed personal family details.
In Spare, Harry talked about his relationship with his family, calling Prince William both a “beloved brother” and “arch nemesis.” He also accused the royal family of leaking stories to the press. When asked if he had heard from his family after the book, Harry said no, but he hoped he would.
Sources say Harry is struggling to make new friends in California. Meghan, being from California, had an easier time adjusting to life there, but Harry still feels disconnected. He seems unsure about what he wants, torn between wanting privacy and some public attention.
