Fans of The Beatles could very well and incredibly, be seeing new music from the ‘Fab Four’ in the near future. During a recent piece with the New Yorker, Paul McCartney said how he wants to fill out and release an unreleased John Lennon/Beatles track. This Paul McCartney performance was ‘ruined’ by loud fans.
In discussion with the outlet, McCartney stated how John Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono gave him and the suriving members of the group demos. Although, the track in question, ‘Now and Then’ was proclaimed by George Harrison to be ‘f***ing rubbish’. McCartney’s last album was ‘McCartney III’ which was released last year.
In other news regarding Paul McCartney, after several decades, ‘Macca’ has shed light on the iconic group’s break up, telling the BBC and journalist John Wilson that the split was insitigated due to John Lennon himself.
Speaking with the outlet, McCartney noted: “I didn’t instigate the split. That was our Johnny. I am not the person who instigated the split.” Continuing, McCartney said, “Oh no, no, no. John walked into a room one day and said I am leaving the Beatles. And he said, ‘It’s quite thrilling, it’s rather like a divorce.’ And then we were left to pick up the pieces.”
