Former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher has reportedly split from his author lover Dorothea Gundtoft after a short-lived romance via Daily Mail. He had recently cracked a cheeky joke about the type of women he wants to meet on tour during an appearance on Radio 2.
Last month, Noel Gallagher had reportedly been on a date with a Danish writer following his split from his wife Sarah MacDonald. The 55-year-old was spotted enjoying a night out with Dorothea Gundtoft at London’s Chiltern Firehouse. Dorothea has contributed to high-end magazines including Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar and Dazed, as well as design publication Icon.

Now, it is claimed the pair drifted apart after struggling to find the time to go on dates.
It came after Noel and his music publicist wife Sara MacDonald, 51, issued a statement to MailOnline in January announcing their split. But after Noel and Dorothea appeared to leave the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant together last month, it is claimed they struggled to get their relationship going.
The newly-single singer reportedly quipped ‘to be continued’ as he ushered Cambridge-educated Dorothea into a car. Previously, the pictures revealed by The Sun showed Noel and Dorothea appearing to leave the lavish restaurant together, with the writer flashing a smile as she walked behind the star.
It has been noted recently that a source told The Sun:
”Noel and Dorothea enjoyed some dates but it never got off the ground.”
”His schedule promoting his new album is gruelling and it’s been hard for them to see each other, let alone go on another date.”
After Noel and Dorothea’s date last month, an onlooker told The Sun the pair ‘looked like a couple’ and appeared ‘affectionate’ during their reported night out together.
They told the publication:
”They looked like a couple, and there wasn’t any effort to hide the fact they were there together.
”Noel is a Firehouse regular and is always photographed coming and going, so for him to go there with a female companion suggests he’s quite happy for them to be seen.”
