As the situation escalated, Morrissey’s security acted quickly, escorting him offstage for his safety. Unfortunately, the incident led to the show ending early, and Morrissey did not return to finish the performance. TMZ reported that one of the bodyguards was injured during the chaotic moment.
Morrissey, known for his lively stage presence, has a history of canceling shows. In 2018, he canceled several concerts due to “logistical circumstances,” and in 2017, he canceled multiple performances in Italy after an incident with the police. Over the years, there have been other instances of postponed or canceled shows, often due to reasons like health issues or Morrissey’s refusal to perform at venues that serve meat.
