Meghan Marks 8 Years With Unseen Wedding Photos
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have marked their eighth wedding anniversary by sharing a series of previously unseen photographs from their 2018 wedding day at Windsor. The images, posted on social media on 19 May, include moments from the reception and behind-the-scenes shots from the ceremony portraits, highlighting the couple’s celebrations eight years on from their St George’s Chapel nuptials.
In the anniversary post, Hello Magazine reported that one of the newly released images shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sharing a passionate kiss while surrounded by guests on the dance floor.
Meghan also credited photographer Mr Chris Allerton in the caption, writing “Eight years ago today…” and sharing multiple pictures across two posts. Some of the photographs have previously appeared in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary series, but the latest release included images not seen before, according to the report.
The anniversary comes after a busy few months for the pair, following a four-day trip to Australia last month that has continued to prompt commentary, including comparisons to Princess Kate after an awkward baby moment on tour.
Prince Harry and Meghan married on 19 May 2018 and are now based in Montecito, California, where they live with their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four. The latest posts add to a pattern of carefully curated personal updates as the couple continue their work through the Archewell Foundation and other media projects.
