Liam Gallagher never really has much good to say about anyone. Not only does Liam have a lot of issues with his own brother, but he also has a distaste for many fellow musicians, who never really had as many horrible things to throw back at him when Liam would dish it out. That said, the band in focus that Liam dished on today have always had some small rumblings of a feud with Liam. Now, Liam seems to be taking aim. This is a little band known as Blur.
On Twitter, Liam Gallagher was asked about his opinions on Blur. Liam, at first, stated that he wasn’t interested. Then, more and more questions came in asking him about Blur. For many of the responses, Liam would give either no answer or a very short answer.
Eventually, it got to a point where Liam was being trolled, and you could tell it was obvious as people kept asking the same questions about Blur to get a reaction. Liam, seemingly fed up, would then state that his brother was a “turncoat,” for supporting Blur’s return.
With this, Dave Rowntree, (drummer of Blur) recently spoke up about booking their upcoming comeback gig. Special thanks to Sky News.
Dave: “Turns out it’s incredibly difficult to arrange something like this, you know, the technical resources, the staff, the places to play. All of these things are in very, very short supply. So it went right up to the wire, but it’s very hard to turn something like that down. We’re a band that’s done almost everything it’s possible to do… what an iconic place, what an iconic venue. It’s just incredibly exciting.”
While Liam may not be happy about this kind of return, it seems that many fans and trolls alike are waiting for Blur to take the stage once again.
