Harry Styles and Chris Pine have seen themselves in a very odd world since the supposed spitting incident that took place between Harry Styles and Chris Pine.
To refresh, Harry and Pine were sitting next to one another at an awards show where cameras caught Harry Styles supposedly spitting in the lap of Chris Pine. To this day, people still believe this to be the case, but there are some theories out there that make a lot of sense into what actually happened.
One theory that made a lot of sense was one in which the commentor stated that Pine was looking for his phone and couldn’t find it. Styles, when walking back to his seat, saw the phone under Chris and said something about it being under him. Watching back on the reaction of Chris, this actually makes a lot of sense.
Recently, however, the two were photographed hugging in Brazil on Tuesday, three months after the viral video.
The former One Direction member, 28, wore a black shirt with his hair styled in a top knot, while the “Jack Ryan” star, 42, was all smiles in a white tee as they drank with friends.
While neither actor has directly denied the alleged saliva scandal, Pine’s rep told Page Six in September that the Venice Film Festival rumors were a “complete fabrication.”
The Emmy nominee’s spokesperson went on to call the story “ridiculous” at the time, claiming, “There is nothing but respect between these two men, and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”
While we may never know what truly happened with the spit swap; it looks like the two are on the right page with one another once again (if they ever did truly fall off of course) and we are glad to see it.
