Harry Styles Opens Tour With Amsterdam Residency
Harry Styles has opened his latest world tour with two packed shows in Amsterdam, beginning a run of 10 consecutive nights at the Johan Cruijff Arena as fans travelled from across Europe for the opening dates.
SSBCrack News reported that Styles paused mid-show to ask the crowd where they had travelled from, with audience members responding that they had come from countries including Switzerland and Ireland, underlining the scale of demand for the “Together, Together” tour.
The report said the tour is structured around extended residencies rather than a traditional city-to-city run, with Amsterdam described as Styles’ only mainland Europe dates before he moves on to further multi-night stands in London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne and Sydney. It added that he is scheduled to play 12 nights at Wembley Stadium, which the outlet characterised as a record-setting run.
The Amsterdam setlist reportedly drew heavily from Styles’ new album “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,” which the outlet said has received mixed reviews, while the live arrangements and staging helped some of the newer tracks land more strongly in the arena. The Amsterdam launch comes amid heightened demand for later dates, after Ticketmaster reportedly cancelled fake accounts for Harry Styles NYC shows as the tour’s ticketing pressures intensified.
Styles has not announced any additional European dates beyond Amsterdam at this stage, and the tour’s residency model is likely to keep attention on how he balances a limited number of cities with continued global demand.
