A TikToker has sparked backlash after she revealed that they spent $10,000 to see a performance by Harry Styles, the New York Post reports.
According to the TikToker, Tara Lynn, she originally made the purchase of two tickets for $890 each through StubHub in order to gain access to the pit, however, upon leaving for the concert it was revealed the tickets were never sent to her email.
She commented: “I’m pissed. I’m beyond livid. We’re walking out the door [to head to the concert], me and my friends, and Max is waiting for us at the venue and I’m like, ‘These tickets never made it to my email. I’m looking and it says the tickets were confirmed but the tickets aren’t there.”
Lynn then said that she would reach out to StubHub customer service, but it sounded as though the representative “was at a bar” and would not speak with her.
The ticketing agency could not get her tickets because they could not reach the person selling them. StubHub did, however, attempt to sell Lynn’s seats at the balcony level.
She continued: “I’m pissed. I’ve used StubHub from the time I was first going to concerts when I was 10 until six months ago then I started doing SeatGeek. I’ve used StubHub for that long and nothing like this ever happened. This was insane.”
Lynn said that she and her friends declined the balcony seats and were able to find two pit tickets through Vivid Seats and Seat Geek — for $4,200 each.
StubHub have declined a refund.
