In the world of social media, rumors spread like wildfire. Whether the word has an authenticity to it or not is not even checked upon at the time. People scoop stories through some sources and the rest is left to the people in the foray to defend themselves.
Olivia Wilde and her nanny, identified by TMZ as Erika Genaro has gone on record that Florence Pugh (from Marvel’s Black Widow) and Harry Styles were in an intimate relationship before the two went their separate ways and Styles fell for Olivia Wilde. While there’s not enough truth to this story, we cannot count out this possibility.
Whether the nanny is saying things that are facts or are just fiction can only be identified when the matter goes the legal route. It looks like Wilde and her ex-boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis don’t want to go that way. They have a different approach to the situation.
The two have released a joint statement on the matter concerning the nanny that is the epicentre of this entire conversation. While Wilde has been talking good about Pugh, Pugh on the other hand has maintained her silence and was in a cold mood while attending the Venice Film Festival last month.
As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly.” The former couple — who share son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 6 stated this in the statement:
Her now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.
It needs to be seen if all is a fact or just fiction, but until that comes to light, we would have to go with what is presented to us. What do you make of the situation? Sound off in the comments.
