David Beckham didn’t let any family drama ruin his night. He went to the Lakers vs. Warriors game on Thursday and sat courtside with his son Romeo. Big stars like Floyd Mayweather, J-Hope, and Young Thug were also there to watch LeBron James take on Stephen Curry at Crypto.com Arena.
Their appearance came just after a report said there’s trouble in the Beckham family. TMZ shared that Brooklyn Beckham is upset because Romeo is dating Kim Turnbull — someone Brooklyn used to date. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, think Kim is trying to get close to the family for the wrong reasons. But David and Victoria Beckham believe she means well.
Things have gotten so tense that Brooklyn doesn’t want to be around Romeo and Kim. That’s likely why he didn’t show up to the game, even though the Beckhams were treated like VIPs and even spent time with LeBron.
Young Thug also made headlines. He showed up in all pink after winning a court case earlier in the day. A judge decided he didn’t break any rules with a post he made online. He watched the game with his partner, Mariah The Scientist. Floyd Mayweather stayed out of the drama and enjoyed the game.
LeBron James scored 33 points and passed 11,000 points with the Lakers, but it wasn’t enough. The Lakers lost 123-116.
