Chris Pine, 42, was at the Venice Film Festival to promote his upcoming movie Don’t Worry Darling, which releases on September 23. Seated between Don’t Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde and her star/boyfriend Harry Styles, Chris Pine was on autopilot for a considerable time. He looked lost, and his voice seemed different.
Various Twitter users took a jibe at him and his situation with his fan/expert @creepertastic stating that he may be re-considering his life’s decisions. There’s nothing bitterly wrong with seeing your fan turn on you and not understand the situation. Whether he was on autopilot or something else cannot be confirmed as of this writing. Pine looked miserable next to Olivia Wilde as well, Styles’ girlfriend.

Chris Pine is a fine actor who has maintained his image in front of the fans, but it looks like people take every moment they can to take a jibe at someone else. A fan noted that Chris Pine disassociating at a press conference, Florence Pugh showed up 15 mins late with an Aperol spritz, Tom Cruise clinging to a plane and saying, “see you at the movies!” Brendan Fraser getting a six-minute ovation… maybe cinema really is back.

This comes as a response to the situation, but one must understand that the Don’t Worry Darling press junket wasn’t planned this way. No one wanted Pine to go into autopilot. It happened due to the circumstances or something else. So blaming it on Pine is not fine, and that’s everyone’s opinion, not just mine.
Should we give the superstars some space of their own without getting into every matter as if it’s our own? Sound off in the comments.
