Britney Spears is a proud mom after watching her 18-year-old son, Jayden James, play the piano at her house on Monday night. This was their second reunion since the holidays.
She shared a video of Jayden’s piano skills on Instagram, calling the moment “so sick” and expressing how impressed she was. In another video, she continued praising him while he mumbled what sounded like a freestyle rap. Britney excitedly reacted, saying she felt the performance in her whole body and joking that it even scared her.
Britney called Jayden a genius in her post, saying she couldn’t believe he was her son. Jayden is the younger brother of 19-year-old Sean Preston. Britney was mostly estranged from them during their teenage years as they lived with their father, Kevin Federline.
She and Jayden previously reunited on Christmas, which she described as the best Christmas of her life. It’s unclear if Sean was there, but Britney hinted at seeing both sons.
Before this, TMZ reported that Sean and Jayden called her on Mother’s Day, and Jayden had visited her a few times after moving back to California from Hawaii, where he had been living with K-Fed and his wife, Victoria.
So it looks like Britney and Jayden are rebuilding their relationship and moving past their past struggles.
