Harper Seven Beckham, the daughter of Spice Girls icon Victoria Beckham A.K.A. Posh Spice was born on July 10th, 2011. Victoria and her husband, beloved soccer star David Beckham have four children: son Brooklyn Joseph (born March 4th, 1999), son Romeo James (born 1 September 1st, 2002), son Cruz David (born February 20th, 2005), and daughter Harper Seven (born July 10th, 2011). Elton John and David Furnish are reportedly the godparents of Brooklyn and another son, and their godmother is the actress, Elizabeth Hurley.
In early 1997, she started dating Soccer star David Beckham after they met at a charity soccer game; prior to this he had watched her music videos and commented to teammates that he was attracted to her, but had been overcome with shyness when they were first introduced. A few months earlier, The ‘Wannabe’ singer had also expressed a wish to meet David during a Spice Girls soccer photo session (by chance, she wore the jersey of his club Manchester United for the feature as the group’s manager was a supporter)
In a recent interview with Vogue Australia however, Beckham declared that his daughter is no fan of the hot outfits that she would wear while as a member of the Spice Girls back in the day. She stated the following to the outlet.
“She said to me recently, ‘Mummy, I’ve seen some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were just unacceptable. They were just too short,’” the 48-year-old fashion designer recalled.
Continuing Beckham went on: “Then David piped up and said, ‘Absolutely, Harper! They were.’ And she was quite disgusted at how short my skirts were.”
Harper has been growing up into a lovely and respectful young lady.
