Iman Vellani is opening up about the Marvel Universe as we see the Universe expand more and more. The star of Ms. Marvel, has addressed whether audiences can expect Harry Styles to return to the MCU, and fans are waiting with hope to hear a good word from that side.
Via Screen Rant, Harry made his franchise debut in the mid-credits scene of Eternals in 2021, playing Eros, accompanied by Seth Rogen as Pip the Troll. In the comics, Eros also goes by the name of Starfox, possesses the power to control other people’s emotions, and is the biological brother of the supervillain, Thanos.
In an interview for the Associated Press, Vellani spoke up about this, but shockingly, it was not what everyone had expected. The twenty-year-old star, who made her acting debut as Kamala Khan in the 2022 Disney+ original series, has become well-known for her vocal opinions on the MCU’s creative decision-making. On the subject of a Styles superhero comeback, however, it appears her breakout role has not yet given her the inside track on Kevin Feige’s plans.
She said: “I feel so weird about it. I don’t know. It’s strange. I really wonder if they’re going to go ahead and do something with his character or if they just teased it for the sake of it. Because I know Chloe Zhao is a big Harry Styles fan…but then you have all of the Harry Styles fandom in the MCU fandom. How chaotic would that be?!”
As of now, there is no direct word on if Harry will be totally in or totally out of the MCU, but we are just as hopeful as anyone else would be about Harry being a very welcomed addition to the crew over at Marvel.
