Paul Hewson, also known as Bono, was recently seen in France enjoying a meal with his wife Ali Stewart, their daughter Jordan and mother-in-law Joy Hewson. They dined at La Colombe d’Or Hotel and Restaurant in picturesque Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Bono has an older brother and a half-brother from his father’s affair with another woman.
He found it wrong at first, but it looks like he has made peace with his situation. Paul talked about the situation, citing that his half-brother and his mother are now a part of the family. Paul spoke on BBC Radio’s Desert Island Discs stating that his mother Iris never knew about it and passed away when Paul was 14 years old.
Paul also donned a ginger colour hair look during this trip. He had darker hair based on his last appearance on the red carpet of the Sing 2 premiere in Los Angeles last December. Bono talked about his confrontation with his dad about this.
His father was at peace with what happened and said he did the right thing. Bono even opened up about his life growing up and said he wasn’t a controlled person. Paul spoke in depth about his relationship with his father, which was complicated.
Bono regrets that he couldn’t be there for his father more often before his passing in 2001. He even admitted that his father was coping with many other things. Bono is a renowned name in the business. It shows that what’s on the surface is not always true. We see these superstars smiling and posing for the camera with high spirits, but deep down, they face multiple problems.
