Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are clearly very much in love and in sync with each other. In the sixth episode of her docuseries Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, Swift shares a deeply personal moment involving a letter Kelce wrote to her before her final Eras Tour shows in Vancouver in December 2024.
Backstage with her mother, Andrea Swift, Taylor reads the letter and becomes emotional. The note, written by Travis Kelce, calls her the love of his life and reflects on seeing her perform live for the first time. Taylor reacts with joy and admits the letter made it impossible to stay unemotional during her final shows.
“So many unbelievable memories on this tour but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time and being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me,” Taylor says with a smile while sitting beside a large bouquet of white roses.
“Selfishly I say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert [Allen] for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri, that night too in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life,” she adds.
This moment follows Swift publicly calling Kelce the love of her life during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she spoke about their engagement and other major life milestones. She said she never assumed these moments would happen and feels deeply grateful.
Their relationship began when Kelce attended her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City in 2023. He later shared on the New Heights podcast that he tried to meet her and even made her a friendship bracelet, but missed his chance. That small moment eventually led to what Swift now calls the most meaningful relationship of her life.
