The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for the third straight year, set to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of Super Bowl 57. Ahead of the game, Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce could be faced with a big decision involving his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and a possible $3 million bill for a luxury suite. Swift even skipped Kelce’s game following her after-party.
This isn’t the first time Kelce has made it to the Super Bowl while dating Swift—he won the title with the Chiefs last year, just months after their relationship began. Kelce shared that he had to spend $3 million to secure a suite for his family, Swift, and her friends.
Now, with the Chiefs returning to the Super Bowl, it seems the cost of luxury suites at the Caesars Superdome hasn’t gotten any cheaper. Reports indicate that Kelce might have to pay $3 million again to get Swift, their family, and friends a spot to watch the game.
Nicki Cox from Page Six reported that “only a limited number of luxury boxes remain” after the Chiefs secured their spot in the Super Bowl on February 9. The VIP suites, which can hold 25 to 40 people, are priced at up to $3 million, the same amount Kelce is believed to have paid last year.
Super Bowl tickets can be very expensive, especially for a luxury suite. Since the Chiefs are playing the late game, they had to contend with Eagles fans who had an earlier start in securing tickets. However, given Kelce’s impressive NFL earnings—nearly $94 million—he should have no trouble covering the costs to ensure Swift and their guests have the best spot to watch the game. Despite limited availability, it’s expected that Swift will have a prime view of the action.
