Travis Kelce Nods to Taylor Swift Lyric
Travis Kelce has sparked fresh conversation around his relationship with Taylor Swift after a cheeky Valentine’s Day message appeared on social media tied to his “New Heights” podcast. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who co-hosts the show with his brother Jason Kelce, was featured in a set of downloadable Valentine’s cards shared for fans on 15 February.
In one of the designs, Page Six reported that the card read “WOOD you be my Valentine?” alongside an image of a redwood tree and Kelce smiling, a clear reference to Swift’s 2025 track “Wood”.
The outlet said the lyric nod connects to Swift’s song, released on her 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl,” which includes lines that play on double meanings and directly mention “New Heights” by name. The report also noted Swift previously joked on SiriusXM’s “Morning Mash Up” that her mother, Ms Andrea Swift, took the song at face value as being about superstitions.
The playful moment arrives as the couple continue to attract intense public attention following their engagement announcement last August, a development previously covered when Donna Kelce discussed the family’s approach to the upcoming wedding.
Neither Kelce nor Swift has commented directly on the Valentine’s card, but the post underlines how the pair’s pop culture footprint now extends beyond music and sport, with even light-hearted social media content quickly becoming a headline moment.
