A recent report indicated that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has used the “past several months” preparing for Taylor Swift’s birthday. The “Eras Tour” headliner has turned 35 on Friday and a new report by The U.S. Sun has noted what the three-time Super Bowl champion has been working on.
As it turns out, Kelce spared no expense for his girlfriend’s milestone and his luxurious gifts reportedly fetching nearly $175,000 in total.
The highlight of the presents was the jewelry, which reportedly cost over $155,000. This included a rode gold 36mm Day-Date Rolex worth $60,350, a Tiffany & Co. customized gold split cuff worth $22,000 and an Elsa Peretti $25,000 open-heart bracelet.
Kelce also reportedly spent $47,850 on an Alhambra necklace, pendant and earrings.
The celebrations would not have been complete without flowers, and Kelce made sure that there was not going to be any shortage of the same. As per The U.S. Sun, the two-time All-Pro tight end spent $19,325 on an assortment of flowers for Swift, which included 35 bouquets — one for each year — from luxe floral brand The Million Roses.
The U.S. Sun further reported that Kelce knows how important this birthday is for Swift, and he’s pulled out all the stops to make sure that it is a memorable one for both of them.
“Thirty-five years old is a very important birthday, and he wanted to make things really special for this special occasion,” the source told the outlet.
“Many luxury items, and the bouquets, one for each year.”
The U.S. Sun’s insider also confirmed that Kelce had “been working on this for a bit now.” The Chiefs star reportedly wants to take this time to spend as much time as he can with Swift now that her two-year “Eras Tour” has finally wrapped up
“The last few months have been very intense for the both of them, and now they just want to enjoy each other, and Taylor’s birthday is the first day of many more days and times for celebrations in the next couple of weeks,” revealed the U.S. Sun’s source.
It was also previously reported that Swift spent around $360,000 for Kelce’s birthday back in October, which included renting out an F1 circuit for a whole day.
