A new PEOPLE photo diary revealed that Kelce enlisted Cami’s Cake Co. to create a special heart-shaped chocolate and vanilla bean cake for Swift’s 35th birthday on December 13. The cake was elegantly topped with white icing and delicate lettering that read “Happy Birthday.” Swift even skipped Kelce’s game following her after-party.
Cami Sanromani, the bakery’s owner, described the experience as “the thrill of a lifetime” in an interview with The Kansas City Star, noting that it was her first time making a heart-shaped cake.
Kelce’s choice of baker was spotlighted again on January 18 during the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Houston Texans. Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at game day, featuring another cake made by Sanromani—this time, an intricately designed replica of Arrowhead Stadium.
Sanromani captured every detail, from the red-and-gold crowd to the field’s yard lines and end zones. After the Chiefs’ win, the bakery excitedly posted on Instagram: “Clearly our cake was a good luck charm and now we are one step closer to a THREE-PEAT!!!!!”
With the Chiefs advancing in the playoffs and Kelce continuing to shower Swift with thoughtful gestures, their romance remains in the spotlight, one sweet surprise at a time.
