Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand, As Ever, won’t be releasing its products anytime soon. Meanwhile, her upcoming Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, is set to premiere on March 4. The series, which was originally delayed due to the LA wildfires, will feature Meghan cooking and gardening at home with celebrity friends. Tom Cruise is also rumored to be helping Meghan Markle with her entertainment comeback.
OMG! Meghan Markle is back to putting out PR to try to get A listers to respond to her and have her name attached to them. Tom Cruise! Although her show is coming out soon, her As Ever products—like her well-known jam—won’t be available for purchase for several months. A Page Six report also revealed that Meghan has partnered with Netflix to sell her products.
In addition to fruit preserves, As Ever will offer dog biscuits, which polo player Nacho Figueras recently showcased on Instagram. Trademark filings indicate that the brand plans to sell a range of home and kitchen goods, including tableware, cookbooks, food items, and pet products.
Meghan originally launched her brand as American Riviera Orchard but faced legal issues when trying to trademark the name. The U.S. Patent Office rejected her request, saying the term “American Riviera” was too generic. She then rebranded to As Ever, but this new name has already sparked controversy.
A town in Mallorca, Spain, claims Meghan’s As Ever logo is too similar to its coat of arms, which features a palm tree with two birds. Meghan’s logo also has a palm tree with two hummingbirds. In response, her team explained that the design was inspired by their California home and Prince Harry’s love of hummingbirds.
