Tish Cyrus fuels Miley Cyrus marriage rumours
Speculation about Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando’s relationship status flared this week after the singer’s mother, Tish Cyrus, appeared to refer to Morando as her daughter’s “husband” during Miley’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
While posing for photos at the event, Tish Cyrus was quoted as saying “We’re gonna bring the husband”, with Morando then joining Miley for pictures and kissing her cheek, Page Six reported, citing the Daily Mail.
A representative for the Grammy-winning artist did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six on Friday evening. Miley, 33, became engaged to Morando, 27, late last year after sparking rumours by wearing a diamond ring at the “Avatar: Fire and Ash” premiere in Los Angeles on December 1, according to the outlet.
The couple have been linked since late 2021, and Miley has previously spoken publicly about their early connection, describing meeting Morando on a blind date. The Walk of Fame appearance adds to a recent run of headlines around the singer, who has also drawn attention for throwback projects including her plans to revisit Hannah Montana.
Neither Miley nor Morando has publicly confirmed a marriage, and no official details about a wedding have been released. For now, the comment from Tish Cyrus remains the latest spark for fan speculation as the couple continue to keep most private milestones out of the spotlight.
