Taylor Swift Tops Spotify’s All-Time Streaming List
Ms. Taylor Swift has been named Spotify’s most-streamed artist of all time, as the platform marked a milestone anniversary and published updated all-time rankings. The accolade places the pop star ahead of several of the service’s biggest global acts and underscores the enduring streaming power of her back catalogue and recent releases.
In its anniversary roundup, Yahoo reported that Swift leads Spotify’s all-time most-streamed artists list, ahead of Bad Bunny, Drake, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande, who rounded out the top five.
The same report noted that Swift’s albums ranked differently in Spotify’s all-time lists. Her 2019 record Lover was placed at number eight among the most-streamed albums, while the top spot went to Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti. Swift also appeared again in the top 20 albums list with Midnights, while The Weeknd, Drake and Bad Bunny each had multiple entries.
Swift did not feature in Spotify’s top 20 most-streamed songs list, where The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” was named the platform’s most-streamed track of all time. The latest streaming milestone follows recent Britpop News coverage of Ms. Taylor Swift’s reported “Life of a Showgirl” earnings as her commercial momentum continues across music and touring.
Spotify’s latest charts offer a snapshot of how listening habits have shifted over time, separating the dominance of high-volume artists from the performance of individual albums and songs. For Swift, the all-time artist ranking adds another marker of scale to a career already defined by record-breaking sales, tours and global audience reach.
