Taylor Swift is attempting to take a break after wrapping up her lengthy Eras Tour next weekend as per Us Weekly.
The pop star has been on the tour for nearly two years straight, performing over 150 shows since kicking off her tour in March 2023. However, it all comes to a close on December 8th in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” a source noted on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
The “Fortnight” singer reportedly plans to spend most of her time in Kansas City with boyfriend Travis Kelce, who she began dating last summer amid her hectic touring schedule.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the insider told the outlet.
“They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” a second source added.
“Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
The “All Too Well” singer is looking forward to a little rest and she’s reportedly already conceptualizing her next album and potential tour. However, the insider noted that “things can change” depending on the way things shape up with Kelce.
“A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the second source said. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Both Swift and Kelce would reportedly “love to be engaged” but they “aren’t rushing it.”
“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the insider shared. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
The couple, who are focused on their careers, reportedly do not plan to start a family for several years. They intend to stay in Missouri until the end of Kelce’s season before dividing their time between Swift’s apartment in New York City.
According to one of the insiders, Swift plans to celebrate her 35th birthday, on December 13th and the end of her tour in NYC, where she also hosted last year’s fête.
“She loves a quaint party with her closest friends,” the first source said, adding, “Taylor is excited about turning 35. She knows she’s accomplished so much.”
She also reportedly plans on hosting Christmas with her and Kelce’s families, who have become “very intertwined” over the last year and a half.
Earlier this week, it was also reported that the Grammy winner and her family, including mom Andrea Swift and dad Scott Swift, hosted the Kelces for Thanksgiving.
