Security has been a concern for both Swift and Kelce. In October, Kelce’s Kansas home was broken into, which led him to increase security. Thieves took his Super Bowl jersey, $100,000 worth of jewelry, and $20,000 in cash. His watch was found weeks later in Rhode Island.
The FBI believes the burglary was part of a crime ring targeting famous athletes. Others affected include Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Bengals QB Joe Burrow, and NBA players Bobby Portis and Mike Conley Jr.
Despite the break-in, Swift is planning to spend the holidays at Kelce’s Kansas City home, according to The U.S. Sun. A source said she wants to be there to support him during the Chiefs’ push for another championship.
The couple spent Thanksgiving together in Nashville, where Swift and her family hosted Kelce. They later traveled to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ game against the Raiders. After the burglary, the pair reportedly stayed at a hotel in Kansas City for extra safety.
