Pop icon Taylor Swift met with massive boos from fans during her appearance at the 2025 Super Bowl final between Chiefs and Eagles but had the support of Serena Williams.
When the pop star was shown on the Jumbotron, thousands of Eagles fans loudly booed her. Swift grew up in Pennsylvania and used to be an Eagles supporter, which might help to explain the dramatic reaction. As Swift heard the crowd booing, her eyes widened, and she gave a strong side eye to her friend, Ice Spice, who sat on her right. She then smiled and laughed it off as the booing continued.
Tennis champion Serena Williams was quick to show her support for Swift. “I love you @taylorswift13,” she wrote in a post on X. “Don’t listen to those booo!!”
Swift wore a sharp white blazer paired with a white tank top and white over-the-knee boots for her appearance at the game. Her outfit also contained a few subtle Easter eggs, including a repurposed “T” chain necklace, which she had originally worn as a garter at the Grammys.
Unfortunately for Swift, the night got worse. The Kansas City Chiefs faced an embarrassing defeat to the Eagles in a 22-40 defeat. As per a Daily Mail source, the NFL superstar was heavily impacted by his very famous girlfriend getting booed before the game.
A source close to Kelce told the site: “Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him.
“He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her, and anyone can see this.
