Sam Asghari Supports Britney Spears Rehab Stay
Mr Sam Asghari has said he is pleased Britney Spears is getting help after reports the singer voluntarily entered rehab, calling the move part of her “healing journey”. The comments came as the fitness model and actor was filmed speaking to reporters in West Hollywood on Wednesday, offering a rare public reaction to his ex-wife’s recent treatment decision.
Speaking on camera, TMZ reported that Asghari said anything connected to healing had his support and described Spears’ rehab stay as a positive step forward, adding that it was especially important when it was “your own call”.
The outlet said Asghari was asked whether he had been in touch with Ms Spears recently, while reiterating that he was “firmly in her corner” and sending her “good vibes”. TMZ also referenced its earlier reporting that Spears checked herself into rehab after a DUI arrest last month, with drugs including Adderall cited as part of the issue.
Spears’ treatment decision has prompted ongoing public interest, including amid previous Britpop News reporting that she was reportedly ‘terrified’ ahead of a May DUI court date connected to the arrest.
Neither Spears nor her representatives have provided additional details about the rehab stay, and Asghari did not address any timeframe for treatment. The latest comments nevertheless underline a supportive stance between the former couple as Spears continues to navigate legal and personal pressures in the public eye.
