Sir Rod Stewart continued to celebrate his 80th birthday on January 18 with a dinner at a Mount Street restaurant, following a family holiday in St. Barts. Despite concerns from those close to him about his drinking, Rod assured fans that he’s “not finished yet.”
The singer was joined by his wife, Penny Lancaster, their son Aiden, and friends including The Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood. For the occasion, Rod wore a black and gold suit with a faux-fur coat and sparkly shoes, while Penny wore a low-cut dress and a chic cream coat.
Rod had previously celebrated his birthday on January 14 with a lavish party on a $150 million superyacht in the Caribbean, surrounded by seven of his eight children. The family shared memorable photos from the trip, including a playful picture of them making funny faces.
Rod, who has been open about his continued drinking after performances, has recently faced concerns about his health. There are fears that his heavy drinking could be harmful, especially after recent photos showed him getting into a limo after a night out. However, Rod remains unafraid, joking that he and his band celebrate after every show and enjoy the party atmosphere.
Rod has been married to Penny since 2007, and they share two sons, Alastair and Aiden. He has eight children in total with five different mothers.
