The Led Zeppelin News Email recently stated, “A new Led Zeppelin biography will be published in November. “Led Zeppelin: The Biography” is a new unofficial account of the band’s career written by veteran author Bob Spitz who published a well-reviewed biography of The Beatles in 2005. The book is scheduled to be published on November 9.
A new biography of John Bonham will be published in September. “Beast: John Bonham and the Rise of Led Zeppelin” will have a foreword by Dave Grohl and is scheduled to be published on September 7.
A gong used by John Bonham, including on stage at Led Zeppelin’s January 9, 1970 Royal Albert Hall performance, is being auctioned with a price estimate between £20,000 and £30,000. It’s up for sale in the upcoming Bonhams entertainment memorabilia sale on May 5.
The publication date of Ross Halfin’s ‘Led Zeppelin Vinyl: The Essential Collection’ book has been confirmed as August 10.”
