Music is one art where a small issue with a string or a tune can ruin the entire song and performance. Damon Albarn learned it the hard way when he condemned the thought and statement that Taylor Swift writes her songs. Notably, Taylor Swift writes her songs, and every major performer in the music industry has come to side with Swift.
Robbie Williams condoned Swift’s claims and was harsh on Damon Albarn. Robbie was talking to NME when he made those comments. His comments support the work done by Taylor Swift. He isn’t the only performer that stands with Swift. Liam Gallagher supported her, and said that those words from Albarn may have happened under some bad circumstances.
Robbie Williams has urged Damon Albarn to ‘get a few ribs removed and give yourself a n**h’ after his criticism of Taylor Swift.
@DamonAlbarn I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really fucked up to try and discredit my writing. WOW. https://t.co/t6GyXBU2Jd

Swift took to Twitter to express her displeasure with the entire situation. The burn was done before Albarn could try to control it from damaging his situation and reputation badly. Albarn understood that the flake on his shoulders is gone, and he needs to get into damage control mode before things go off-hand. He responded to Taylor’s tweet with a positive response, but the damage was already done. The issue arose when Albarn was promoting his new album The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows.
I totally agree with you. i had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait. I apologise unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand. – Damon

Damon wanted to play the entire concert on the piano. When the interviewer said that Swift’s songs would fit well with the piano, then Damon found offense to it and said that she has co-writers and she doesn’t write her songs.
Did Damon eat more than what he could chew? Sound off in the comments.
