Spencer Pratt believes Taylor Swift will help him after his $2.5 million home in Pacific Palisades burned down last month. However, insiders say he is “deluded” and that Swift is unlikely to get involved.
The former Hills star, 41, is a huge Swift fan and said on The Viall Files podcast that he emailed her “right away” after the fire. He hopes Swift will include his wife, Heidi Montag, in a future project—possibly the rerecording of her Reputation album.
“I think she’s just gonna have Heidi be involved in the Reputation announcement somehow,” Pratt said.
Swift, who often donates to charities, has not responded to him. But Pratt is still hopeful. Without any proof, he claimed Swift might “have something in the works” for him.
“I still haven’t given up,” he added.
Pratt and Montag, who have two children, are also using the fire to promote Montag’s music. They asked fans to stream her 2010 album Superficial, which was a flop when it was released. Their efforts worked—the album recently hit No. 1 on iTunes.
They have also been asking for money on social media. Fans have donated nearly $25,000 through TikTok and another $100,000 directly to them.
Some people feel sorry for them, but others think they are just trying to get attention. Pratt and Montag, known as “Speidi,” have a history of publicity stunts.
