Prince William and Kate ‘Cut Off’ Andrew, Report Says
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales have reportedly made a firm decision to distance themselves from Prince Andrew, according to a US report published as the couple mark their 15th wedding anniversary.
A source quoted in a piece carried by Yahoo claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales have “cut him off”, describing the move as part of efforts to keep their family life tightly controlled and to avoid being drawn into controversy linked to the Duke of York.
The report said the alleged decision reflects a preference for a small inner circle built on “stability, privacy, fraternity, and trust”, and suggested the couple are focused on protecting their home life as William’s future role as king comes closer. It also claimed the stance does not extend to Andrew’s daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who were described as remaining “in good graces with the palace”.
The anniversary timing comes as the Waleses have been marking the milestone publicly, including a new family photo released to celebrate 15 years of marriage, while continuing a programme of official duties alongside their private family life.
No comment from Buckingham Palace or representatives for Prince Andrew was cited in the report. The claims are attributed to unnamed sources quoted in US media coverage and have not been independently confirmed.
