Prince Harry is trying hard to fix his relationship with the royal family after he and Meghan Markle stepped away from royal life. Reports say he offered to share his schedule with senior royals to help rebuild trust.
But some royal experts think the move seems “desperate.” British royal expert Hilary Fordwich said the offer feels more about helping Harry than truly making peace. She explained that King Charles is still very careful around Harry because he worries private family moments might get leaked to the public again.
Fordwich also said Prince William and his team don’t trust Harry either. They think making peace with him might lead to more drama and unwanted attention.
Still, Harry has been making an effort. His team recently met with King Charles’ communication team in London. He also offered to let the palace see his calendar so they can avoid scheduling conflicts.
Sources say Harry wants to avoid stepping on the royal family’s events. He even made the same offer to William and Kate. But they haven’t spoken to him since 2020, and some reports say William has no interest in fixing things.
One recent example of conflict came when Harry visited Angola. His trip was featured in the news and took attention away from Queen Camilla’s birthday portrait. Photos of Harry walking in the same place his mother Princess Diana did 28 years ago made front pages everywhere.
