Prince Harry Eyes Sandringham Family Visit
Prince Harry is reportedly considering a UK trip that could see King Charles spend time with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time in nearly four years. A new report says the Duke of Sussex hopes for “family time” on British soil this summer, with the question of security said to be central to whether the visit happens.
Hello Magazine reported that The Times said Prince Harry wants an invitation from King Charles for a stay at Sandringham in Norfolk with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their children.
The report said such a meeting would end a no-contact stretch between the King and his two grandchildren, who last saw him in June 2022 when Harry and Meghan travelled to the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Prince Harry’s plans are understood to hinge on the outcome of his UK security arrangements, after he has previously said he does not feel it is safe to bring his family back without armed police protection, an issue also discussed as the Home Office reviews his UK security again.
The same report said Harry last saw King Charles on 10 September 2025 for a private tea at Clarence House in London. Any future family gathering would come against the backdrop of the King’s busy summer diary, and would mark a notable moment in the long-running discussion about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travel to the UK with their children.
