Prince Harry may be thinking about moving back to the United Kingdom with Meghan Markle and their children.
At the WellChild Awards in London last week, Harry spoke with singer Joss Stone, who recently moved back to the UK with her family. Stone told Hello! magazine that Harry talked warmly about how good British schools are and how important community is for children. She said he seemed genuinely curious about her move and asked how her family was settling in, describing him as “very warm and down to earth.”
Stone even wondered aloud if Harry and Meghan might return too, saying it would be nice if they did.
Harry and Meghan left the UK in 2020, first staying in Canada and Los Angeles before settling in Montecito, California, where they now live with Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. King Charles III has only met Lilibet once, during the family’s trip for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
In May, Harry said he hoped to reconcile with his father, admitting there’s “no point in continuing to fight,” even though Charles hadn’t been speaking to him. Earlier this month, father and son met privately for nearly an hour at Clarence House, where Harry reportedly showed family photos and videos.
Prince William was not present at that reunion, but the recent visit and Harry’s comments about schools and community suggest that a return to the UK is something the Duke of Sussex and Meghan may be seriously considering.
